About Deji Apps
Hi there, My Name is Ayo Shoola I am the developer of 4.Do and Fire Shift Calendar. I am currently a full time Firefighter and Paramedic. Even though I don’t have a formal education in computer science, I have always been passionate about tech and software development which is what has led me to teach myself how to make apps in my spare time.
My hope is to continue making apps that make life easier for my users.

The story behind 4.Do
Reading the 7 habits of highly effective people years ago was very impactful on me. Prior to that I felt like I was always busy but not actually accomplishing anything. The concept of the 4 quadrant and doing “first things first” was especially useful to me in being more productive. I started off with drawing the quadrants on a piece of paper every morning and carrying that with me all day. One day I thought to myself, since I almost always have my phone on me, why not just use an app. As I began to look into it, there were already a couple of apps based on this concept. However, they either lacked functionalities or were not aesthetically appealing, so I decided to make my own and share it with others out there looking for the same thing as me.
The story behind Fire shift Calendar
Right before graduating from the fire academy, my classmates and I were assigned our shifts and Kelly days. The first thing we did when our instructors left was pull out our phones and look for apps to track our new, unusual schedule. I remember being very disappointed by what I saw on the play store. All the apps I could find were outdated or overpriced. So I decide I would make one that is feature packed, visually appealing, easy to use, and regularly updated. It took a few years to manifest, but I’m proud of the resulting app.
